Beaches

Curacao has over thirty tropical beaches with crystal clear water, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Many of the best beaches are found at the west end of the island. The northern coast with its rough Caribbean sea is not suitable for swimmers, but is a hotspot for surfers. Do some beach hopping and you will carry this land in your heart forever. Shete Boka

Is a National Park that is named for the seven inlets; a favorite is Boka Tabla where wild waves wash into an undersea cavern. The park is a great way to view the dramatic ocean of Curacao were you can listen, see and feel the hard ocean waves crashing into the rock formations.

Tula Museum

A place dedicated to informing and educating the public about the daily life of African ancestors that lived in Curacao. The museum focuses on the struggle against all forms of slavery and racism. The country-house is located in Kenepa plantation and displays permanent and temporary expositions where visitors are invited to discuss and interact.

Sea Aquarium

Is located on the oceanfront at Bapor Kibra, committed to raise public awareness of marine life and the fragility of coral ecosystems. Enjoy watching feeding shows where you can interact with starfish, sponges, sea urchins and other little creatures. There is also a sea lion show fantastic for kids and adults.

Substation Curacao

Is the world's first deep water submarine specially designed for tourist and researches. Submerge in this unique experience; there are different diving programs you can choose from. Get ready for the most unique underwater expedition of your life and be amazed by the underwater scenery rarely encountered by humans.

Curacao Floating Market

Is one of Curacao's most famous and picturesque sights. Each morning boats come from Venezuela filled with mangoes, papayas, exotic vegetables, freshly caught fish, herbs and spices. The market is an outstanding place to do some local shopping. Close to walk by from downtown and the best time to visit is at 6:30am.

Curacao Maritime Museum

Located in the monumental restored former Hotel Venezuela building opposite to the Floating Market in Scharloo the museum is a great place to enrich your knowledge about the maritime history of Curacao. Go on a journey of maritime history from Christopher Columbus voyages to modern day cruise travel and container shipping.

Chrisfoffel Park

Explore Curacao's rich variety of flora and fauna. If you are a nature lover ask for a guided park tour. There are eight hiking trails to choose from and scenic car routes are also available to take you around hills and underbrush. For a hiking challenge the top of Mt Christoffel rises 1,227 feet above the scenic outback of Curacao.

Curacao Snorkeling

Immerse yourself in the underwater world at the Curacao Marine Park that hosts over 1,500 acres of pristine coral reef. Get a map of the island and find a list of snorkeling spots. Curacao has some of the clearest water in the Caribbean, which will help you appreciate the pristine coral reef home of tropical fish, sea turtles, seahorses, eels, and dolphins.
